NAVDRISTI SOCIAL & BLIND WELFARE SOCIETY (REGD.) is a non-profit, non-government philanthropic organization registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act for the upliftment and development of visually impaired physically challenged and also for the community at large. The Society renders services in the fields of education, health, social awareness and vocational training.
NAVDRISTI ASHRAM a home for Blind students is being run by 'NAVDRISTI SOCIAL & BLIND WELFARE SOCIETY (REGD.) at F-9, Khasra NO. 18/4, RAMA VIHAR, DELHI-110081, INDIA, Contact No. 91-8010453152 providing absolutely free inhabitance, education, medical facility and other necessities to the blind children arriving from different parts of the country who are pursuing their school and college education from Delhi University.
A Hostel and Vocational Training Institute for the visually impaired boys (student) is being reconstructed on a piece of a land measuring 150 square yards in a pollution free zone.
To make the physically challenged, in particular blind, students feel that they are not detached with the society and they are an integral part of the society and can make their effective contribution in terms of Education, Culture and Art. To provide them with proper educational, health related and other important necessities to make them self-proud. To introduce vocational training features for the blind students so that they can secure their future. To create a world of equal opportunities for the needy people irrespective of physical, social politico-economic disadvantage.
